I am a Survivor!

A tornado has gone and I am alive!

After spending a few days here in Tokyo, HR team has left for their home office. Layoffs of 10% of our Tokyo staff were announced today, and I have survived!

Those people will receive a good layoff package (I hear it is going to be a six-month to twelve-month package), but they will have to leave the company very soon.

Good Lord! Although I feel a bit sorry for those who were announced to be laid off, I did survive a layoff and I am extremely happy! Yey! 411

Hi Josh,

I mean what could I ask for more?

Anyway, thanks Josh!

12-month severance package is quite generous. If given an option, I might take the option to leave.

Hi TK,

Sorry I missed you out.

It is generous, but the money I think will soon be gone.
